Randell McShepard was elected Vice President - Public Affairs in October 2007. He is primarily responsible for coordinating external affairs for the company, including corporate philanthropy and government relations. His duties also include corporate procurement and facilitating executive leadership development programs. Mr. McShepard began his career at RPM in 2001 when he joined the company as director of community affairs. His previous work included serving as Executive Director of City Year Cleveland and Assistant Director of Administration and Program Development for the Cleveland Bicentennial Commission.Mr. McShepard is very active in the Cleveland community, serving as a trustee for Baldwin-Wallace University and the George Gund Foundation, and as a director for TaylorOswald LLC. He is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of PolicyBridge, a public policy think tank serving the Northeast Ohio region. His professional affiliations include his current role as Regional Vice Chair of the Public Affairs Steering Committee - National Association of Manufacturers.Mr. McShepard holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Baldwin Wallace University and a Master of Science degree in urban studies from Cleveland State University. He and his wife, Gail, reside in Beachwood, Ohio and have three children.
