Tom Sullivan, Jr. was elected Vice President - Corporate Development in October 2007. Mr. Sullivan joined RPM's corporate office in 2003 as director of corporate development, after serving in various sales and management positions with RPM subsidiaries, from 1987 to 2003, including Republic Powdered Metals, Consolidated Coatings, ESPAN Pte. Ltd./RPM Asia Pte. Ltd., and Tremco Incorporated. Mr. Sullivan was responsible for opening RPM's first office in the Asia Pacific marketplace. Prior to joining RPM in 1987, he was a wholesale marketing representative for Armstrong World Industries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University of Ohio.
He also serves as a board member for Sullivan Scholars, the Thomas C. Sullivan - Sandy Sullivan Charitable Foundation, and the Restoration Committee for St. Patrick's Church in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Sullivan is the grandson of RPM's Founder Frank C. Sullivan, and the son of RPM's Chairman Emeritus Thomas C. Sullivan. He lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his wife Mary. They have three daughters Margaret, Audrey, and Ingrid, and two sons Rory and Thomas Grady Sullivan.
