Matthew K. Franklin was elected to vice president of information technology in October 2018. In this position, he is responsible for the day-to-day IT support at RPM’s corporate headquarters and providing senior oversight of IT initiatives companywide. In addition, he manages RPM’s information security program. Since joining RPM in 2000, Mr. Franklin has been vital to the success of the company’s corporate and operating company IT strategies and has served in a leadership role for many years.
Prior to being elected to his current position, Mr. Franklin held several positions at RPM, including the role of senior director of information technology operations and multiple other IT positions. He is a member of the Conference Board’s CISO Council, where he serves on its executive committee. Mr. Franklin holds a bachelor’s degree in information management from Myers University.
