Craig S. Morford is the retired General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM), one of the largest fuels, lubricants and chemical companies in the world, where he led efforts in litigation, mergers and acquisitions, environmental and climate, and regulatory & international compliance and commercial legal affairs.

Prior to ExxonMobil, he was the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), a multinational healthcare services company, overseeing key departments such as government relations, ethics, and regulatory compliance. In 2007, Craig was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as acting Deputy Attorney General, the culmination of a distinguished 20-year career with the US Department of Justice, including service as U.S. Attorney in Detroit, MI and Nashville, TN. As Deputy Attorney General, the second-highest ranking Office of the Department of Justice, he oversaw the Department’s litigation divisions, including the 93 US Attorney Offices across the country, its National Security Division and the FBI, DEA, and ATF from 2007-2008.

Craig has also served as a member of the Ohio State University Board of Trustee’s Audit and Compliance Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hope College and a J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.
