Elizabeth F. Whited is the president of Union Pacific Corporation, one of America’s leading transportation companies. In this role, Whited leads the strategy, workforce resources, sustainability, law, corporate relations and government affairs functions.

Since joining Union Pacific Corporation in 1987, Elizabeth has held a variety of executive roles in strategic planning, investor relations, ESG, finance, and marketing and sales, including serving as president of subsidiary Union Pacific Distributions Services. In 2018, she was named executive vice president and chief human resource officer and in 2022, she also took on the role of Executive Vice President-Sustainability and Strategy. She has served in her current role as president since August 2023. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.
