Scott D. Copeland was elected vice president of commercial excellence in November 2022. In this role, he is responsible for accelerating organic growth across RPM’s businesses by enhancing data gathering and analysis, enabling greater salesforce productivity, increasing brand equity and value selling, and expanding into new product platforms and geographies.

Scott has held multiple positions since joining RPM in 2012, including director of corporate development, senior director of corporate development, senior director of financial planning and analysis, and most recently, vice president, financial planning and analysis. During his time with RPM, he has provided vital support for various projects, including RPM’s MAP to Growth operating improvement plan. Prior to joining the company, Scott served as director of transaction services with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and was a senior associate auditor at KPMG LLP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Miami University.
