By advancing sustainability throughout our organization—reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, effectively managing waste and conserving natural resources—we are putting our aspirations into action. Simply put, we are Building a Better World.
2023 Capital Investments/Highlights
- $7.6 million spent on capital projects that had a sustainability benefit
- 28 projects that reduced annual energy consumption by 5.9 million kWh
- 8 projects that reduced annual waste by 5.7 million pounds
- 4 projects that reduced annual water consumption by 6.8 million gallons
Our goals demonstrate our commitment to Building a Better World. Our philosophy is to set goals, which are ambitious, but attainable over a 3-to-5-year timeline, so the same people setting the goals are the ones implementing actions to achieve them.
